My Story
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Portland, I grew up immersed in a rich tapestry of cultures, which has deeply influenced my worldview. A true water enthusiast, I find my happiest moments sailing and engaging in various water sports. My love for people and a belief in having fun drive my everyday actions. With a strong commitment to helping others, I strive to make a positive impact on the world around me, blending my passions and care for people into a fulfilling and adventurous life.
Treatment Philosophy
In my therapeutic practice, I prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space within the client-therapist relationship, recognizing that trust is the foundation for effective therapy. I understand that the journey of therapy can be challenging, and I use my clinical judgment to balance self-exploration with gentle encouragement to step outside of one's comfort zone. I firmly believe in the potential for every individual to be empowered to self-actualize and overcome limitations. My approach is deeply rooted in a commitment to social justice and equity, ensuring that all clients feel valued and respected as they work towards personal growth and healing. I’m a practicing Catholic and happy to work with all faiths and denominations!
