My Story
I’ve lived in Portland for seven years now and although we pay a steep cost with all this rain, it never ceases to amaze me that everything can be so green. I am an avid reader, animal lover, and plant enthusiast who enjoys trivia and traveling.
Treatment Philosophy
I’ve worked in the mental health field for 10 years with specialized interest in supporting individuals with intense trauma. In that time I have learned that healing looks different for each person and our approach to treating trauma must be as individualized and the folks we are serving. I operate from a framework that looks beyond the individual and considers the systems and environments that impact their wellbeing I have long witnessed the effects of complex and inter-generational trauma and have had the privilege of witnessing the bravery of individuals with the desire to break cycles. I strongly believe that we are all a work-in-progress, that growth is a lifelong journey, and that every person deserves an opportunity to be seen and heard in a supportive and nonjudgmental space.
